The East End Thrift Store

After spending, frankly a little too much time, in the vintage shops along Brick Lane and Cheshire St. I've had my eye out for a new vintage fix!

Turning down a little side street after a row of kebab shops on the Mile End Road is a tiny passage which houses The East End Thrift Store

Its a great warehouse space which reminds me quite a lot of Beacons Closest (Williamsburg, NY) Downstairs is rail upon rail of 80's and 90's dresses and denim with reworked acid wash tees and remade shell tops. With dresses and denim shorts starting at £10 and reworked tops about £15, its a great place to stock up for your summer wardrobe!

Upstairs seems to be called 'Assembly Passage' and is a different shopping experience altogether, its really bright and spacious with well dressed mannequins. The product is more on trend and slightly better quality and the prices reflect that I bought an amazing printed midi skirt for £30. It has a carefully selected range of both mens and womenswear, an inside tree and an endorsement from Vogue, what more could you need?!

Good selection of mens coats and straw hats!

I think more vintage shops should have random trees!

If your like my Nick apparently you just need a comfy sofa to write your tumblr posts from! All in all a good vintage venture: a fab skirt and a smiling Nick! With that we were off to the pub!
